THE BAND: SuG was founded in Oct 2006 by Takeru, Masato, Yuji and Shouta. In November, MITSURU, the drummer, joined. The band started its activities in the beginning of 2007, but in February Shouta left the band and was replaced by Chiyu, who is now the bassist. SuG then started their successful career and worked hard on spreading their popularity. After numerous concerts in spring and summer, SuG signed the famous J-Rock Label PS Company. “I SCREAM PARTY“ was the name of their first mini-album. As their first Europe experience SuG rocked Cologne, Germany in Dec 2008 and gained a new fanbase. 2009 is the year when SuG held their major debut in Japan with their new drummer Shinpei. New albums and singles are ready to blow away the audience. We are already excited to see how successful 2011 will be for the band!
THE ALBUM: After their successful first Album “TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL” SuG are hoisting the sails for their second strike! With “THRILL RIDE PIRATES” the 5 guys from Japan will take you on a wild Pirate trip, jumping from one crazy attraction to the next! In keeping with their band motto “Heavy Positive Rock”, SuG created 15 dynamic and playful songs on this record. The Euro Edition also contains a breathtaking DVD with a fresh music clip und a whole load of energetic live material from SuG’s concert from 29th August 2010 in the Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall. And this is not all: the album comes in a decorative sleeve case, enclosing an exclusive 20p photo book, plus an Extra Booklet with lyrics in English & Romaji!
