He was the perfect husband until his one mistake followed him home. With the trailer already in US theaters thrilling audiences, WHAT LIES BENEATH is being referred to as THE SIXTH SENSE of 2000. The wife (Pfeiffer) of a college genetics professor (Ford) in Vermont starts seeing strange visions of a woman who might or might not be a ghost. Specifically, it appears to be the ghost of a woman that the professor had an affair with, and now, she's possessing his wife's body. WHAT LIES BENEATH is a romantic mystery from Robert Zemeckis (FORREST GUMP, The BACK TO THE FUTURE Trilogy, WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT?), one of the most successful directors of our time and features two of today's biggest stars in film. Throw in a story by the great Steven Spielberg and you've got a summer blockbuster of the highest order.
Composer Alan Silvestri has joined Zemeckis for each of his films, producing some of the most memorable scores of the last fifteen years. Additionally, Silvestri has scored everything from STUART LITTLE to THE BODYGUARD.
Newcomer Matthew Margeson contributes an epic orchestral score to SKYLINE, the sci-fi thriller directed and produced by the Brothers Strause whose company Hydraulx has provided visual effects for Avatar, Iron Man 2, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button and 300.
Music composed and conducted by Elmer Bernstein.
Music composed by Trevor Jones (The Last Of The Mohicans) performed by The London Symphony Orchestra
