Kurt Leimer accompanies the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra della Radio della Svizzeria Italiana and astonishes the listener with Sergey Rachmaninov’s third concerto, the explosive bonus of the famous Prelude in G minor and his own piano concerto, a predominantly good-humoured homage to all the great composers whose works this outstanding pianist used to perform with such enthusiasm and brilliance.
